PACKAGE CONTENTS

Before attempting to use this unit, please check the 

packaging and make sure the following items are contained 

in the shipping carton:

 

• Metallic Bluetooth

®

 Speaker

 

• Micro-USB charging cable

 

• 3.5mm AUX cable

 

• User manual

CHARGING

1. Insert the micro-USB end of the included cable into the  

charging port on the back of the Metallic Speaker. 
2. Insert the USB end into a powered USB source such as a  

computer, laptop or USB wall charger. The charging indicator 

will light up red.

NOTE: Please fully charge the Metallic Speaker prior to first 

use.

POWERING ON

1. Slide the 

power switch

 to the 

ON 

position and the display 

will light up. The Metallic Speaker will enter 

Bluetooth

®

 mode

.

2. Slide the

 power switch

 to the 

OFF

 position to power down 

the Metallic Speaker.

BLUETOOTH

®

 MODE

PAIRING A DEVICE AND PLAYING AUDIO

1. After turning on the Metallic Speaker it will enter 

Bluetooth

®

 

mode

. The LED indicator light will flash blue on the back of the 

unit, this indicates that the Metallic Speaker is waiting to be 

paired. 

While pairing remain within one metre of the earphones. 

2. Using the controls on your 

Bluetooth

® 

device, select 

BD-MTLSPK-1

 in your 

Bluetooth

®

 settings menu. If your device 

requires a password, enter 

0 0 0 0

Refer to the manual of your 

device for specific instructions on pairing and connecting 

Bluetooth

®

 devices.

3. Once pairing is successful, the LED display will stop flashing.  

Audio played through the connected 

Bluetooth

®

 device will now 

be heard through the Metallic Speakers.

4. Use the controls on your connected device to select and 

begin  to play audio. To 

play/pause audio

skip songs

 or 

change the volume

 use the controls on the top of the Metallic 

Speaker or the controls on your connected device. 

ANSWER PHONE CALLS

1. To accept a phone call, firstly pair your mobile with the 

Metallic Speaker via 

Bluetooth

®

. Once paired, press the 

answer/hang up button

 located on the top of the Metallic 

Speaker to accept an incoming call. You can now speak 

through the inbuilt microphone.
2. To end the call, press the 

answer/hang up button

 once 

more.

NOTE: You can also use the controls on your mobile phone.

TF/ MICRO SD CARD MODE

1. Insert your TF or microSD card into the slot located on the 

back of the Metallic Speaker. The speaker will begin to play the 

mp3 files stored on the card.

2. Use the controls located on the top of the Metallic Speakers 

to 

play/pause

adjust volume 

or 

skip songs

 stored on your TF 

or microSD card.

AUX LINE-IN MODE

1. Insert a 3.5mm AUX cable into the AUX port located on the 

back of the Metallic Speaker. Press the 

mode button

 until  

you reach the 

AUX Line-In mode

.

 

2. Begin playing audio via your connected AUX device and the 

sound will be played through the Metallic Speaker. 

FM RADIO MODE

1. Plug in the micro-USB cable into the charging port on the 

back of the device. Press the 

“M” 

(mode) button twice to reach 

FM radio mode. 

The speaker will sound “radio mode”. If the 

speaker sounds “

Bluetooth

®

 

 ready to pair”, short press the 

"M” 

button

 again.

2. Scan through radio stations by pressing the 

previous 

and 

next buttons

.

3. For 

auto-tuning

, press the 

pause button

 once. The speaker 

will now search for radio channels automatically.

NOTE: For radio operation, ensure the micro-USB cable is 

plugged in (the USB end does not need to be connected) to act 

as an aerial. The AUX cable (included) can also be used as an 

aerial by connecting one end of the 3.5mm AUX cable to the 

back of the unit via the AUX Line-In port.
