Remote access
Control your Response 70 from
another telephone using a
Touchtone™ keypad.
If you hear 4 short
‘beeps’ it means you
have entered the wrong
security code and are
invited to try again.
If you take more than 8
seconds to enter a
✱
or
number, your Response
70 will announce
‘Thank you for calling’
and disconnect the line.
Once you have entered
your security code.
If you have no
messages you will
hear ...
... and your Response
70 will disconnect the
line.
You can turn your
Response 70 answering
machine on and off,
and listen to your
messages from any
Touchtone
™
telephone.
To protect your
privacy, messages can
only be accessed by
keying in a 2 digit
security code.
For your security
code, look inside your
Response 70’s speaker
cover. (You cannot
change the security
code.)
To check for
messages
Dial your phone
number and wait.
When you hear your
outgoing message,
press the
✱
button on
your phone. You will
hear a beep.
Key in the first digit of
your security code.
You will hear a beep.
Key in the second digit
of your security code.
You will hear a beep.
Beep!
You have no messages.
Thankyou for calling.

Beep!
