Rack Installation
The Soundweb Contrio Server must be installed according to the guidelines laid
out in this document. Damage caused to the Soundweb Contrio Server resulting
from a failure to follow these guidelines is not covered by the warranty. The
Soundweb Contrio Server
MUST
be installed using the provided rack rails.
To install the Soundweb Contrio Server into the rack:

Open the provided box containing the rack rail kit and locate the rack
installation instructions.

Follow steps 3 then 5 in the rack installation instructions to prepare the
rails for installation (these are the steps for tooled installation).

Follow steps 4 then 6 in the rack installation instructions to mount the
rails to the front and rear of the rack (these are the steps for tooled
installation). When installing the screws in the front of the rack (as
described in step 4 of the rack installation instructions), install only the
center screw and omit the top screw for each rack rail as shown below.

Once the rails have been installed, follow step 7 in the rack installation
instructions to mount the chassis rail members to the sides of the
Soundweb Contrio Server.

Slide the Soundweb Contrio Server into the rack rails through the front of
the rack.
6�
Install the 2 additionally supplied screws and washers into the upper holes
in the front of the rack (these are the holes where the screws were omitted
in step 3 above).
