4. MODIFYING THE MEASUREMENT CONDITIONS
4.9 Setting the GO/NG Judgment Function
The SJ-201P is provided with the GO/NG judgment function to facilitate GO/NG judgment
of workpieces based on the surface roughness.
With this GO/NG judgment function the measurement result is compared to its upper and
lower limits, and if it exceeds either of the limits, the judgment result will be indicated by
“
↑ ” or “ ↓ ”.

GO/NG judgment is possible for up to two parameters
The GO/NG judgment function can be set for two parameters. To perform GO/NG judg-
ment for parameters other than those currently set, cancel the setting of this function for
either of the two (by setting the upper limit to zero), then set this function to the objective
parameter. This function is valid only for parameters that can be displayed on the LCD.
