Blade Inspection
Check for damage, dullness or cracks. Blades
should rotate freely and be clear of obstruc-
tions. Replace entire set of blades if damaged.

Bearing Housing
Remove any foreign material from shaft.
Daily or every use
Hoses and hose safety shield Check for wear or damage.
Daily or every 8 hours
Hydraulic Motor Mount
Bolts
Torque to 75 ft - lbs.
Daily or every 8 hours
Bearing housing lubricant
Check oil - add 80 W 90 gear oil -
DO NOT
over fill - The bearing housing is full when oil
level is 2” below the plug cap.
Once per week
Push Guard
Clean the fitting before lubrication. Apply
grease to the pins on the guard of the 72
M-AX.

72 M-AX Unit
Clean the unit to view potential damage or
obstructions that could result in poor perfor-
mance.
As needed
CAUTION:
Perform maintenance on a level surface with the unit
firmly on the ground. Shut off the hydraulic power sup-
ply and disconnect hydraulic couplers.
Do Not
loan your 72 M-AX to another skid steer owner.
The potential exists for hydraulic contamination
and could shorten the life of your skid steer or the
hydraulic motor on your 72 M-AX.
