For Magnets with N2 Towers:
Remove the screws from the adjustable arm assemblies for N2 magnets ( Figure
4.7. ), and move the arm assemblies and column the to the N2 towers. Place the
outer half of the fastening rings around the N2 towers and rescrew the fastening
rings together. Do not tighten the rings until you have completed the step below.

Regardless if you have N2 tower or not, the column should be turned in such a
way that the connections at the bottom are directed towards the magnet
