Typical

Connect
the
Front
End
1) Place the Ground Station in such a way as not to influence the free-field conditions
required for a pass-by test.
2) Connect the Ground Station to a mains or DC 11 – 32 volts supply to power it. A
battery is included as standard in the Ground Station to provide an uninterrupted
power supply.
Connect
the
Photocells
1) The Photocell(s) are positioned on the same side of the road as the Ground Station.
Position them as shown in Fig.3.1 symmetrically about the PP´ line at the chosen
distance (typically ±15 m).
Note:
In a two photocell unit configuration, photocell unit 1 is at the entrance when driving
in the forward direction while photocell unit 2 is at the exit.
