High-frequency Head and Torso Simulator (HF HATS) Type 5128 –
32
The handset’s ECRP is directly over the front support when the handset is correctly mounted in
the cradle. The rear support can be positioned in any one of the five sockets available for the
centering forks and is held in place with a knurled locking ring.
The end stop controls the positioning of the phone along its longitudinal axis, and similarly to the
supports, can be extended or retracted using an adjustment knob.
The centering forks, supports, support feet and end stop have etched graduations.
Variants of Components
To accommodate a range of handset dimensions, cradles and centering forks come in two
variants.
Cradles:
• Use UA-1541 for handsets with a thickness/height of up to 46 mm.
• Use UA-1642 for handsets with a thickness/height of up to 59 mm.
