a crisscross pattern as shown.

1. LH tongue safety cable attached to the RH
side of hitch
2. RH tongue safety cable attached to the LH
side of hitch
10. Connect the trailer connector.
N NO OT TE E:: On brake-equipped trailers,
the electrical connector is a 5 pin type.
Adaptors to 4 pin type connector may
be available at your local auto parts
stores.
11. Ensure the back-up lock pin is not
installed before taking the road.
