If the engine does not start and it is
fuel-flooded, the drowned mode can
be activated to prevent fuel injection
and to cut ignition while cranking. Pro-
ceed as follows:
1. Install key on D.E.S.S. post.
2. Press completely and HOLD ac-
celerator pedal.
3. Press the engine START button
during 10 seconds.
4. Release engine START button.
5. Release
accelerator
pedal
completely.
6. Press the engine START button
again to allow starting.
If it does not work:
1. Remove the spark plugs. Refer to
Spark Plugs
in
Maintenance Pro-
cedures
section.
2. Crank engine several times.
3. Install new spark plugs if possible
or clean and dry spark plugs.
If engine does not start, see an au-
thorized Can-Am Off-road dealer, a
repair shop, or a person of your own
choosing for maintenance, repair, or
replacement.
