14. On the LH side, cut part of the handlebar cover

so as to allow room for the routing of the wires
down the steering column.

Reinstallation

The handlebar cover installation is the reverse of
removal procedure. However pay attention to the
following:

Torque retaining screws to specification.

Reinstall seat and console. Installation is the re-
verse of removal.

WARNING

– Make sure that handlebar turns freely in

both directions.

– Make sure that all wires/cables are clear

from contact with any moving parts or
sharp edges.
