W zależności od wymagań naszych roślin, gleba może różnić się parametrami, jednak
w
przypadku szklarni / tuneli ogrodowych dla działkowców, powinna być ciepła, bardzo żyzna
i średnio wilgotna. Mile widziana jest ziemia torfowa lub mieszanka ziem z wysokim procentem
zawartości torfu.
Szklarnie foliowe dla działkowców ustawia się zazwyczaj dłuższym bokiem w kierunku
północno-południowym. Zapewnia to dobre naświetlenie.
