INSTALLATION OF DISTILLATION KIT
WARNING!
Before first use, thoroughly wash the container, using water and dishwashing
liquid, with a soft sponge or a cloth, then dry. Do not use brushes or cleaning agents that could
scratch the surface of the container.
1.
Install the analog thermometer in the lid of the container (in the smaller hole, near the
edge of the lid), placing the gasket on the top of the lid and applying the washer and nut
from the bottom of the lid respectively.
2.
Put both parts of the column and condenser with valve together. Use Teflon tape to
secure and seal the threaded connections between the two parts of the distillation
column and between the condenser and the valve (we recommend using Raschig rings
to fill bottom part of the column). Valve must be closed.
