N.B. If C2=1 the frequency cannot be changed on Menu 3.
MENU 5 INTEGRATOR GAIN
CFF DCFF CFV
When you are in Tracking mode (Menu 1 Mode 1), the gain is the speed with which the vibrator reaches the
value set by the user.
Settable values are: 1, 2, 4, 8. Obviously, by setting 8 the speed for reaching the set value will be faster, and
vice versa by setting 1.
If there is oscillation of the vibration (incorrect vibrations) on some devices, you should try to reduce the gain.
MENU 6 ASSIGNING SENSOR PX1 (PX3 IN VIBR. 2 OF DCFF BOARD)
CFF DCFF CFV
Physically connect the sensor to ter - IN1 (PX1) of the board. (Fig 07 or Fig. 08 or Fig. 09)
Close the box and turn on the controller. On Menu 6, select 1 to activate the sensor. On the menu, set DARK
(-S1=1) or LIGHT (-S1=0) configuration. You can now set a delay in activation and a delay in deactivation by
going to the submenus. Delays can vary from 0.1 seconds to 25.5 seconds where each point corresponds to
100 mS.
MENU 7 ASSIGNING SENSOR PX2 (PX4 ON VIBR. 2 OF DCFF BOARD)
CFF DCFF CFV
Physically connect the sensor to ter - IN2 (PX2) of the board. (Fig 07 or Fig. 08 or Fig. 09)
Close the box and turn on the controller. On Menu 7, select 1 to activate the sensor. On the menu, set DARK
(-S1=1) or LIGHT (-S1=0) configuration. You can now set a delay in activation and a delay in deactivation by
going to the submenus. Delays can vary from 0.1 seconds to 25.5 seconds where each point corresponds to
100 mS.
MENU 8 EXTERNAL COMMAND 0-10 V / 4-20 mA
CFF DCFF CFV
Acceleration of vibration can be managed directly by a 0-10 V / 4-20 mA external command (for example, for
metering control in weighing systems). This control can be managed by a PLC or by a remote potentiometer.
The control has to be connected to ter and – (0-10V) of the board (Fig 07 or Fig. 08 or Fig. 09) and
selected on the keyboard from Menu 8. In addition to enabling the 0-10 V function, you can set the DIRECT
or DENIED function, i.e., maximum vibrator acceleration when there are 10 V in input (DIRECT = 0) or
maximum vibrator acceleration when there are 0 V in input (DENIED = 1).
On the DCFF board with software version preceding the 5.00 the external command function is exclusive,
i.e. if it is set on board 1, it is automatically disabled on board 2 and vice versa, while from the version 5.00
onwards it is possible to manage two independent controls (a new input on the board has been added).
MENU 9 SYNCHRONIZING MULTIPLE VIBRATORS
CFF DCFF CFV
This mode can be used only by connecting the device in a vibrobus network (see Master manual).
MENU 10 AUTOMATIC RUNNING MODE WITH SRV02 PROBE
CFF DCFF CFV
The SRV02 accelerometric probe inserted in the front of the vibrator supplies a sinusoidal analog signal
proportional to acceleration.
The probe is connected to ter and – (PROBE) of the microprocessor board. To enable, set 1 on
Menu 10. The constant “C” will appear on the menu which is factory-set to 60. This value represents probe
response expressed in mV/g. If a calibrated probe is supplied, this value must be replaced with a number
found on the probe.
