7.2.9. Encoder Reading Check Mode “E” Key
This mode checks that there is no problem to read the encoder or no phase shift. Fig. 26 is
displayed.

When depressed “ ” key, the motor is rotated, and the value of the photo interrupter is
read. If the value of the photo interrupter (displayed by “ ”) is correct at the timing of 0 to
3, “OK” is displayed. If it is not correct, “NG” is displayed, and “ ” or “ X ” is indicated for
each timing.
This mode also checks that the synchronized pulse is within 4ms.
Turn the power off by pressing the “On/Off (
)” key to complete the check.

Printing Check by Connecting with the PC (PT-2300/2310)
Connect the machine with the PC under the normal edit mode and open the dedicated
program. After entering the texts, check if it is printed correctly.
