OPERATION

TURNING THE UNIT ON/OFF

1 .

Insert the power cord into an AC 120V 60Hz electrical outlet .

NOTE: To reduce the risk of electric shock, this product has a polarized plug
(one blade is wider than the other) . As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a

polarized outlet only one way . If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse
the plug . If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper
outlet . Do not alter the plug in any way .

2 .  Place the unit on a chair . Optionally, use the chair strap to secure the unit to

the chair .

3 .  Press      on the controller to turn the unit on .

4 .

Press      again to turn the unit off .

NOTE: The unit shuts off automatically after approximately 20 minutes .

USING THE MASSAGE ZONES

The unit has two dual-headed massage nodes that span three massage zones:

FULL, UPPER and LOWER . Select a zone by pressing the ZONE button until the
white indicator light reaches your desired massage zone .

USING THE MASSAGE THERAPY PROGRAMS

The unit has three massage therapy programs . Select your desired program by

pressing the corresponding button on the controller:

•  AUTO — A pre-programmed, full-back massage that features both Rolling and

Shiatsu massage .

•  ROLLING — Soothes the massage zone of your choice with a steady, up-and-

down rolling motion . Use with the ADJUST button to select roller width .

•  SHIATSU — Delivers a rolling, rotating massage to the zone of your choice .

Press the SHIATSU button until the white indicator light reaches your desired
rotational direction . (Note: You cannot alter the width of the rollers in the
SHIATSU program .) Press the TARGET button to focus your massage on a
specific area . Press TARGET again or choose the AUTO or ROLLING program
to move the nodes .

ADJUST

Press the ADJUST button to adjust the width of the rollers on either side of your
spine . Not available with the SHIATSU program .

HEAT

Press the HEAT button to add soothing heat to your massage . Note: The heat
function cannot be used independently . It is only functional during the massage
programs .
