USE
Before using the appliance for the first time, or after using it for a longer period of time, we
recommend filling the kettle to the maximum water mark with fresh tap water, boiling and then
draining the water and rinsing the appliance. Repeat the previous garment.
Your device is now ready for use.
FILLING
Remove the device from the base. You can fill the appliance with water through the spout or by
opening the lid.
Do not fill the appliance with less than 0.5L of water (less than the "MIN" mark) to avoid boiling
empty, and do not fill the appliance with more than 1.7L (more than the "MAX" mark) to avoid
water splashing during cooking.
SWITCHING ON
After filling the appliance with water, place it back on the base.
Plug the cord into an electrical outlet and press the On / Off button. The device turns on and the
activity light turns on.
SWITCHING OFF
When the water starts to boil, the appliance switches off automatically and the indicator light
goes out.
NOTE: This appliance has a safety system that will automatically switch off the heating element if
the appliance is switched on without water or boiled empty. In this case, allow the appliance to
cool down for 10 minutes before refilling with water.
If the appliance has switched off automatically, it can be switched on again after it has cooled
down for 15-20 seconds.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Open the lid and pour out any remaining water.
Always unplug the power cord from the wall outlet and allow the device to cool.
Clean the outside and base of the kettle with a soft damp cloth, then wipe dry. Do not use
abrasive cleaners or materials.
Descale regularly
STORAGE
Switch off the appliance and unplug it; let it cool completely.
Follow all instructions in the Maintenance and Cleaning section.
The power cord can be wrapped around the base of the device, where it will be stored.
Keep the device in a cool, dry place.
