Memory Specifications
The SilkWorm 3800 has the following memory:

Fibre Channel Port Specifications
The fibre channel ports in the SilkWorm 3800 are compatible with SWL and LWL SFP
transceivers. The strength of the signal is determined by the type of transceiver in use.

The ports are capable of operating at 2.125 Gbit/sec or 1.0625 Gbit/sec, and are able to auto-sense
the highest speed of which all attached devices are capable.
Serial Port Specifications
The serial port is located on the port side of the switch, and is a three-wire RS-232 port with a
“DB-9” male connector, designed to connect to a DTE port.
Note:
To provide dust and ESD protection, keep the cover on the serial port whenever the
port is not in use.
