4.3.1. Installation
Procedure
The backplane provides two sets of power input connections for redundancy.
Power cables are connected to the top left side of the backplane using the
following method (see Figure 5):

. Cable terminals to:
TB3 (and TB1 for redundancy): -48 V/ -60 V
TB4 (and TB2 for redundancy): GND

Caution:
Ensure that the PSRG40 card is not fully inserted in the cage.
Caution:
Ensure that the DC power supply cables (-48/-60 Vdc) to be
connected are NOT live.
Note:
Cable terminals are located on the backplane power connectors.
Note:
No other cables should be connected to the backplane (GND) and
(-48 Vdc) power connectors, except for modem power cables.

Cables Using Cable Terminals

. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove two screws fastening cable terminals to
the power connectors. Remove terminals.
