Forward Facing Lap Belt

Installation 

Figure A

illustrates a typical lap belt only

seat belt system.

Place the child restraint forward facing

on the vehicle seat.

If stabilizing bar is extended press blue

release button, located adjacent to the
right side rear facing lock-off, to release
and store bar. (fig. B).

3

Pass the seat belt through both side

slots, then fasten the seat belt and verify
that it is not twisted (fig. C).

4

Before continuing, make sure that the

lap belt  passes under BOTH lap belt posi-
tioning guides (fig. D).

NOTE:

Forward facing installation is

improved by the use of the Versa-Tether

™

,

but is not required.
