5 Operating the pump controller
Initial commissioning
Many settings are pre-configured by the manufacturer to enable initial commission-
ing by the operator.
1. Switch the pump controller on


3. Once initial commissioning is complete, please verify that the configuration
settings made by the manufacturer are correct and adjust if necessary.
4. If there should be any issues with the configuration, contact customer service:

5.1 Switching on and logging in
1. Establish the power supply. To do this, connect the pump controller

s PWR
connection to the power supply using an L-coded M12 connection line.

The pump controller starts. A progress bar shows the process that is run-
ning.
2. Observe the following boot sequence when using removable storage devices:

external USB storage medium

external micro SD card

internal flash memory

After start-up, the login screen is displayed (Fig. 19).
