Fig. 68 shows the elements that are required to define the condition for execut-
ing a command.
Description
Comparison
(Fig. 68/1)
The comparison is the basis of a condition. In order to check a
condition, the IF command compares the value of a source pa-
rameter using an operator with an If value.
One of six possible operators can be used in each comparison:
equal (=):
The condition is true if the source parameter is
equal to the IF value.
not equal (< >):
The condition is true if the source parameter
is not equal to the IF value.
greater than (>):
The condition is true if the source parame-
ter is greater than the IF value.
greater than or equal to (> =):
The condition is true if the
source parameter is greater than or equal to the IF value.
less than (<):
The condition is true if the source parameter is
less than the IF value.
less than or equal to (< =):
The condition is true if the
source parameter is less than or equal to the IF value.
no branching:
If you select “no branching”, the condition is
not checked and the THEN command is executed.
