2.2 Using the Sparge Water Heater
We advise to keep at all time at least 3 litres of water in the machine.
1. Open the lid and fill the machine with water. Make sure the water doesn’t exceed the max
line on the machine.
2. Connect the plug to the power outlet
3. Press the ‘on’ button, the red lamp will start to glow and the water will heat
4. When the desired temperature (selected by the turning knob on the left) is reached, the
boiler will stop and the green light will pop up. The kettle will now keep this temperature.
5. Please check the water level regularly to make sure that there’s 3 litres of water in the
machine at all time.
6. To turn of the machine, please press ‘off’ and then unplug the machine.
2.3 Dry boil protection
The machine has a dry boil protection, this means that when the water level is too low or all
water is boiled out, the machine will turn itself into safety mode and turn o
ff
. To start the
machine back up, press the reset button when the machine cooled down a bit and start
over.
3. Extra notes
Please note that the temperature reading can be off 5-10°C. This is because the temperature
sensor is located in the bottom of the kettle. To obtain better accuracy please circulate the liquid in
the tank. For specific purposes where accuracy is needed, please use an external thermometer to
receive the correct reading.
