apple and blackberry pies
50g of shortcrust pastry
50g of sweet shortcrust pastry (or
alternatively use all shortcrust)
100g of blackberries
half a large Bramley apple
1 tablespoon of castor sugar
teaspoons of cornflour mixed with a little
water
ingredients
method
1. Peel and slice the apple into chunks then
add to a pan with the blackberries and
sugar.
. Cook for approximately 5 to minutes
until soft and then add the corn flour
mixed with water. Stir occasionally until
the mixture thickens.
. Spoon in the pies and top with the pastry
tops.
