Always  switch  off  at  the  power  outlet  and  unplug  the
appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.

Removable filter

The  kettle  features  a  removable  mesh  filter  to  remove
scale  deposits  for  cleaner  water.  To  clean  the  scale
deposits from the filter, open the lid and remove the filter
by pressing the filter towards the centre of the kettle to
unclip.

The filter can be cleaned by placing under warm running
water and rubbing with a cleaning cloth or brush.

To replace filter, simply clip the filter back in position in
the slot behind the spout of the kettle.

Removal of mineral deposits

Mineral  deposits  in  tap  water  may  cause  the  kettle
interior and water window to discolour over time. Stains
and scales may be removed by using the Breville Kettle
Cleaner, available from most electrical retailers.
