9 Using the DC power adapter

NOTICE

Risk of voltage damage!

The manufacturer is not liable for voltage damage due to the use of an improper
power adapter.

NOTICE

Using this device with other devices/components

Before using this device, ask the manufacturer of any other devices/compon-
ents (third-party products) you would like to use with this device whether the us-
age is recommended.

1. Plug the DC power adapter cable (8) into the DC power output socket (5)

and connect it with the camera’s DC power input socket (read more in the
instruction manual of your camera).

2. Plug the AC power cable (7) into the AC power input socket (4) and connect

it with the power outlet.

3. Move the charger/adapter switch (3) to position ‚DC Out’. The adapter indic-

ator (2) lights up red. The camera is supplied with power .

4. Move the charger/adapter switch (3) to position ‚Off’ to switch off the device.

Remove the DC power adapter cable (8) from the camera.

10 Cleaning and maintenance

– Before cleaning the device, disconnect it from the power supply (remove

plug or remove batteries)!

– Only use a dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. To avoid damaging

the electronics, do not use any cleaning fluid.

11 Disposal

Dispose of the packaging materials properly, according to their type,
such as paper or cardboard. Contact your local waste-disposal service
or environmental authority for information on the proper disposal.

Do not dispose of electronic devices in the household garbage!

As per Directive 2002/96/EC of the European Parliament on waste elec-
trical and electronic equipment and its adaptation into German law, used
electronic devices must be collected separately and recycled in an en-
vironmentally friendly manner.
