The crown has three positions:
1. Neutral position
(manual winding)
2. Rapid moon phase correction
3. Time-setting position
Starting the watch
Crown in position
1
. This position
enables the automatic movement to
be wound by hand. If the watch has
stopped, turn the crown upwards (
▲
)
about 65 times. Thereafter, the watch
winds itself while you wear it. Fully
wound, the watch will keep going for
about 45 hours off the wrist.
Setting the time
Pull the crown out to position
3
. Then
turn the crown upwards (
왕
) to move
the hour and minute hands forwards,
or downwards (
왓
) to move them
backwards, and set the hands to the
desired time. For accurate time-
setting, please make sure that the last
operation is done with the hands mov-
ing anti-clockwise through at least 10
minutes (by turning the crown down-
wards
왓
). Then push the crown back
to position
1
. After this operation,
rotate the crown downwards (
왓
) to
make sure it turns freely.
