Shaving
Pre ss the on/off s witch
w
to operate the s haver:
• The pivoting s haver head and fl oating foil s
automatically adju s t to every contour of your
face.
• To s have hard to reach area s (e.g. under the
no s e) s lide the s haver head «loc k » s witch to
the bac k po s ition to loc k the pivoting head at
an angle.
• To trim s ideburn s , mou s tache or beard, s lide
the pop-out long hair trimmer upward s .
Tips for the perfect shave
For be s t s having re s ult s , Braun recommend s you
follow 3 s imple s tep s :
1. Alway s s have before wa s hing your face.
2. At all time s , hold the s haver at right angle s
(90°) to your sk in.
3. S tretch your sk in and s have again s t the
direction of your beard growth.
Shaving with the cord
If the s haver ha s run out of power (di s charged),
and you do not have the time to recharge it in the
Clean&Renew
s tation, you may al s o s have with
the s haver connected to an electrical outlet via
the s pecial cord s et.
Cleaning
Automatic cleaning
After each s have, return the s haver to the
Clean&Renew s tation and proceed a s de s cribed
above in the s ection «Before s having».
All charging and cleaning need s are then
automatically ta k en care of. With daily u s e, a
cleaning cartridge s hould be s uffi cient for about
30 cleaning cycle s .
The hygienic cleaning cartridge contain s alcohol,
which once opened will naturally evaporate
s lowly into the s urrounding air. Each cartridge,
if not u s ed daily, s hould be replaced after
approximately 8 wee ks .
The cleaning cartridge al s o contain s lubricate s ,
which may leave re s idual mar ks on the outer foil
frame after cleaning. However, the s e mar ks can
be removed ea s ily by wiping gently with a cloth
or s oft ti ss ue paper.
