continue iron ing. There is no need to perform the 
cleaning immediately. The cleaning procedure can 
be performed when the ironing session has been 
fi nished or next time the appliance is switched on.

If the appliance is switched off  without having 
performed the cleaning process, the clean LED 
and acoustic signal will turn on again when it is 
next switched on. In case the steam emission 
is deactivated the cleaning procedure must be 
performed in order to proceed steam ironing.

To perform the descaling process follow the steps 
as described hereafter:

The clean LED (12) turns permanently on and you 
hear an acoustic signal indicating to perform the 
descaling. Fill the water tank between half (50 %) 
and maximum. Do not insert any chemicals.

Place the iron on the cleaning vessel (15).

2. 

Press the clean button (13) for 5 seconds. The 
temperature control LED (1) is flashing and you 
hear an acoustic signal. 

3. 

Wait for about 2 minutes. Caution: hot steam 
is coming out! When the descaling process is 
finished, the clean LED turns off, you hear an 
acoustic signal and the iron is cooling down. 

To clean the soleplate iron over a rag. The soleplate 
might still be hot – do not wipe manually. 
Empty the cleaning vessel and clean the parts 
under running water. 

Caution: 

The cleaning vessel can be hot and 

contains hot water, take care while moving and 
emptying it.

Caution:

 Do not leave the appliance unattended 

during the descaling process.

Always perform the descaling process with the 
cleaning vessel. Do not interrupt the process by 
lifting the iron up from the cleaning vessel, as hot 
water and steam will come out of the soleplate.

Care & Cleaning 

Before cleaning, always make sure that the 
appliance is unplugged and has cooled down 
completely. 

 

To clean the soleplate it is suggested to use a 
damp cloth. 

 

Never use chemicals, vinegar or scouring pads 
(eg. sponges with coarse nylon fabrics etc).

Lock System 

The appliance is equipped with a lock system for 
convenient transportation and easy storage. It 
is possible to lift and carry the appliance on the 
handle of the locked iron.

NOTE:

 Before transportation make sure the iron is 

properly locked and has cooled down completely. 

 

Place the iron on its heel rest (3) into the iron rest

Storage

Unplug and let the appliance cool down (the
