Operation
3.1
Principles of Operation
The Brandt RGN Trailer consists of three main pieces, the front Gooseneck section that connects the
tractor to the front of the trailer deck, the Base Trailer Deck and the Rear Axle Section. The front
Gooseneck section is easily removable for loading and unloading heavy equipment.
Several options are available for the trailer:
•
A Front Flip Section used to increase swing clearance for use of a tri-drive tractor or jeep,
•
The movable King Pin provides four unique pin positions,
•
A Trailer Deck Extension that extends the deck by 6 feet,
•
Deck Outriggers that are used to support extremely wide equipment,
•
Back End Ramp Kit that acts as a stop on the trailer deck and assists certain loads up over the
tire and onto a bolster,
•
Light and Flag Kit to alert other drivers when hauling extremely wide equipment,
•
Fender Kits for the Gooseneck and the Rear Axle Section,
•
Trough Kits placed between the trailer frame rails to support excavator arms.
