USING YOUR OVEN
a) Before using your appliance for the first time
●
Take the appliance out of its packaging and check that no parts or accessories are
missing or damaged.
●
Check that all packaging elements (plastic, cardboard, polystyrene) have been removed
from inside the appliance.
●
Clean all parts according to the instructions provided under the chapter "caring for and
cleaning your appliance".
●
Carefully dry and assemble all parts; the appliance is now ready for use.
Heat the oven with nothing inside it:
●
Insert the tray and wire rack.
●
Set the cooking function switch to
and set the temperature control knob to "
240°C
",
then heat the empty oven for about 10 minutes.
●
After allowing the oven to cool, unplug the power cord and clean all spare parts again.
Note:
The oven may produce a smoky or burning smell when first used. This is perfectly normal.
b) Setting the temperature
Set the "temperature control knob" to the suitable temperature
for the dish you are cooking by turning it in the clockwise
direction (temperature range from 70°C to 240°C).
