2) INTRODUCTION TO YOUR MACHINE
a) Description of the Kettle

b) Before Using for the First Time
Unpack the machine and remove all the paper and plastic. Make sure no pieces of packaging
remain inside the machine.
Before using your kettle for the first time or if you have not used it for a long time, fill it up to
the maximum level and boil the water, in compliance with the instructions in the following
paragraph. Then discard the water, Repeat 2 or 3 times.
3) USING YOUR MACHINE
a) Filling the Kettle
 Place the machine on a dry, flat, stable surface.
 Remove the kettle from the base. Slide the lid to the right using the locking handle

to
open it and fill it with water.
 The amount of water must not be more than the MAX mark on the inside of the kettle
(1.5 L). Caution, if the kettle is overfull water may be ejected when boiling.

Close the lid by sliding it in the opposite direction to opening and place the kettle on its
base.
