USING YOUR MACHINE
a) Filling the Kettle
Place the machine on a dry, flat, stable surface.
Remove the kettle from the base. Open the lid and fill the kettle with water.
The quantity of water is visible on the water level indicator located under the handle. It
must never be less than the MIN (0.6 l) mark or more than the MAX (1.7 l) mark. Caution,
if the kettle is overfull water may be ejected when boiling.
Close the lid and put the kettle on its base.
Never fill the kettle through the spout. Never open the lid when the water is boiling.
Avoid contact with the steam from the kettle
b) Connection and Prior Installation
Put the kettle on its base. Unroll the lead and plug the machine in.
A beep sounds and the screen shows "C".
At this stage the real temperature of the water is shown on the screen (7). No other
indicator light is on.
c) Using the Kettle
Select your heating temperature by pressing the + or - temperature keys (8).
Once the temperature has been selected press the On/Off button (10). A red LED comes
on below the pictogram indicating boiling (11). The kettle starts.
You can see the rise in water temperature in real time on the display screen.
Once the temperature is reached a beep sounds and the red LED under the pictogram
indicating boiling goes out.
It is then possible to keep the water warm for two hours. To do this press twice on the
On/Off button (10). An LED lights under the pictogram indicating the Keep Warm function
(9). The kettle will go off automatically at the end of two hours.
