Setting the temperature
When starting your machine, set the thermostat to a medium position (the "ON" light is lit as well as one
of the lights indicating the selected temperature). When the thermostat is on the Stand-by position, your
freezer is off (the "ON" light is unlit).
Quick Freeze function
This function enables you to freeeze a large quantity of fresh food very quickly.
Manual stop or automatic stop after 52 hours.
Defrost control
This warning light switches on to indicate that it is time to defrost and clean your freezer after emptying
it and unplugging its electrical cord.
To zero the alarm, turn the knob to Standby and then return it to the previous position.
Temperature alarm
A lit red warning light and audible alarm indicate that the freezer temperature is too high (for example:
due to a power outage, a malfunction, etc.). Press the Fast Freeze button and make sure the food in the
freezer has not defrosted (not even partially). The red warning light accompanied by the audible alarm
can switch on for a short period of time without signaling a malfunction in progress:
- if the door is kept open for more than a minute.
- if a large amount of fresh foods are inserted in the freezer
The appliance is always powered.
Prolonged opening of the door will cause the internal temperature to rise.
Your appliance's internal temperature is closely linked to the ambient tempera-
ture, how frequently the door is opened and the amount and temperature of the
food you have put in your appliance.
