4 Start-up
Unpack the device and remove all packing material. Place the lamp on a flat, level
surface to prevent it from falling.
Then plug the supplied USB to DC coaxial power connector with your desired USB
output device and also with the lamp. This is necessary in order to operate or char
-
ge the built-in rechargeable battery. It can be done by the help of a USB port on
your computer or via a 5V DC USB power adapter. If the lamp is being charged, the
LED on the backside lights red. When the LED lights off, the battery is fully charged.
To turn the unit on, just tap the „On / Off / Mode“ button on the front of the lamp.
Press the „On / Off / Mode“ button again to choose between three different light
modes. The switching sequence of the lamp is as follows:
• On / Brightness level 1
• Brightness level 2
• Brightness level 3
•

Never try to open the device to carry out repairs or conversions. Avoid contact with
mains voltages. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not certified for use
in the open air; only use it in dry conditions. Protect it from high humidity, water
and snow. Keep it away from high temperatures.

as this might damage electronic components. Examine the device for damage be-
fore using it. The unit should not be used if it has received an impact or has been
