HOW TO USE YOUR CORDLESS STAINLESS STEEL KETTLE
1.
The
Kettle
must
be
in
the
OFF
position
(ON/OFF
Switch:
switch
up).
2.
Open
the
lid
by
pressing
the
lid
button.
3.
Do
not
use
hot
water
to
fill
the
Kettle.
Use
only
fresh
cold
water.
Allow
the
cold
water
to
run
for
three
to
four
seconds
before
filling
the
Kettle
4.
Ensure
that
the
water
is
filled
to
at
least
the
MIN
level
and
do
not
exceed
the
MAX
level.
5.
Place
the
Kettle
onto
its
power
base.
6.
Ensure
that
the
lid
is
properly
closed.
7.
Connect
the
mains
plug
to
the
mains
electrical
supply
making
sure
that
the
voltage
and
the
frequency
is
the
same
as
detailed
on
the
Rating
Plate
found
on
the
power
base
of
the
Kettle.
8.
To
switch
the
Kettle
on,
press
the
On/Off
plastic
switch
down.
The
indicator
light
will
illuminate
with
a
RED
light.
9.
When
the
water
has
boiled,
the
Kettle
will
switch
off
automatically.
10.
The
Kettle
may
be
switched
Off
at
any
time
by
lifting
the
On/Off
switch
upwards
to
the
‘Off’
position.
IMPORTANT:
Switch
off
the
mains
electrical
supply
and
remove
the
mains
plug
from
the
mains
supply
before
removing
the
Kettle
from
the
Power
Base;
before
moving
the
Kettle
and
also
when
the
Kettle
is
not
in
use.
DESCALING
Furring
up
is
a
common
problem
in
hard
water
areas,
and
it
is
recommended
to
descale
the
Kettle
regularly.
1.
To
descale,
fill
the
Kettle
with
1.7L
cold
water
and
add
approximately
75ml
vinegar.
2.
Boil
the
water
and
allow
to
stand
overnight.
3.
Re-boil
the
water
the
next
day.
4.
Discard
the
re-boiled
water
and
refill
the
Kettle
with
fresh
water.
5.
Boil
the
fresh
water.
This
boiled
water
must
also
be
discarded.
N OTE:
Normal
commercial
descalers
for
kettles
may
also
be
used.
Follow
the
instructions
carefully
for
the
given
descaler.
