No Apparent power to
the unit (No green light
illuminated on front of
unit).
Green standby light is
illuminated. Unit will not
start cycle, when
activation button is
pressed on front of unit.
Unit is activated, fans
run, but there is no
heat.
Fans do not turn when
unit is activated.
Unit does not complete
a full 20 minute cycle.
Check that power cord is
secure in back of unit.
Check there is power to
the plug. (Should not be
on a GFI)
Check Continuity of fuse
located in plug assembly
Indicates a problem with
the control board.
Check heater bar
continuity and
connector.
Check over heat
protector continuity and
connection.
Check continuity of fans
and connections.
Check that fans spin by
turning manually.
Indicates a problem with
the control board.
If none of the previous
causes apply, there
could be a faulty wire,
connector or main
power board. Please
contact Boyd by calling
800-255-2693.
Replace the control
board.
If none of the previous
causes apply, the heater
bar or overheat
protector may need to
be replaced.
If none of the previous
causes apply, the fan
motor(s) may need to
be replaced.
Replace the control
board.
