Troubleshooting
No Sound
Check IC001 and peripheral circuit.
Check the switching voltage at pins 9 and 10.
pin9: L pin10: L: PC audio input
pin9: L pin10: H: AV audio input
Check if the audio sig-
nal is observed at pins 2
and 13 of IC001.
Check audio output circuit.
Check speaker, connection of the terminals “K10U”, “K8F/K8Q”.

Check following steps.
Check IC5001 and peripheral circuit.
Check the volume control voltage at pins 2 and 6 of IC5001.
L: volume min. H: volume max.
Check if the audio sig-
nal is observed at pins 3
and 5 of IC5001.

Check IC5021 and peripheral circuit.
Check buffer transistors Q5041, Q5042.
Check if the audio sig-
nal is observed at pin 2
of IC5061.
Yes
No
Check IC5061 and peripheral circuit.
Check the mute control voltage at pin 1 of IC5061.
L: mute on H: normal
Check that the mute signal output from pin 13 of IC2324<D/A>.
Check if the audio sig-
nal is observed at pins 6
and 8 of IC5061.
