7. 

Flash Tube Removal/Replacement 

7.1

 

To remove the flash tube first remove the 
glass dome as explained in section 5. 

7.2

 

Unwind the twisted trigger wire from the 
trigger terminal tag.

Holding the flash tube supports, ease the 
flash tube assembly away from the flash 
head (Fig.4) 

7.4

 

To replace the flash tube hold the 
replacement assembly as shown in (Fig.4), 
locate the three brass sockets onto the plugs 
in the front of the flash head.

Press down evenly until all the plugs and sockets are fully engaged.  Pass the trigger wire through the 
holes in the trigger terminal tag and wind around the tag, ensuring that the wire does not touch the 
metal top hat. 

7.6

 

Refit the glass dome as explained in section 5.

Discard the old flash tube safely using the packaging from the new tube.
