. The unilite has been designed to the same high standar

synonymous with the Bowens brand. The unilite is a simple, easy to use continuous light sour
ce
that is ideal for any photographic or video studio. For details of all r

der to obain the full benefit fr

chase, please take a few moments to familiarise
yourself with this user guide.

The unilite must not be used in an envir
onment wher
e moistur
e or flammable vapour is likely to
come into contact with the unit. A fir

d exists if flammable materials ar
e placed in close
pr
oximity to the lamp when in use.

Do not obstruct the airflow ar
ound the unit and keep all vents clear at all times.

Disconnect fr
om mains and allow to cool befor
e fitting/r
emoving acessories or changing
fuse/lamp. Never r
eplace the fuse with a dif
fer
ent type or rating. A spar
e fuse is contained in the
fuse holder
.

om heavy
, sharp or hot objects.

eplaced immediately

Select a stand or system to support the weight and dimensions to ensur
e stable operation of the
unit. Ensur
e that the mounting bracket scr
ew is fully tightened. The angle of the head may be set
using the locking handle, always support the unit befor
e r
eleasing the handle and never for
ce
adjustment without r
eleasing the handle.
Use the mains lead supplied by your Bowens dealer to connect to a suitable mains supply -
220/240V 50/60Hz or 110/130V 50/60Hz.
Note: light output will impr
ove after the lamp has been switched on for a few minutes.
The Bowens unilite is a continuous light sour

. The unit
is supplied with a daylight 6400K lamp suitable for video studios or digital photography
. The light
output fr
om the Uni-Lite can be softened when r
equir
ed using the supplied fabric dif
fuser
.
