ADDS 5600 Linux-Based Terminal

Tuning

ShellScript

The ADDS 5600 gives a direct access to its file system thanks to the

ShellScript connection. ShellScript gives the ability to configure a custom script
written in Shell that will be executed manually or automatically.

Warning: ShellScript connection can give access to the

linux file system. The 5600 uses a read-only file system with a
single writeable user partition (/tmp/config). Modifications
made within the file system may alter the functioning of the

5600. Therefore, this kind of connections should be used only by
linux experts.

ShellScript connection samples:

Open a console

cd /tmp/browse

rxvt

Note: The console will open up in /tmp/browse. This directory contains the Storage Drives. In case an

administrator is set, then this password will be requested
