3. TRANSPORT, STORAGE, DISMANTLING AND
DISPOSAL
Introduction In this chapter you find information on
transporting, storage, dismantling and disposal of
the milking box.
3.1. Transport precautions
WARNING!
Transport should only be performed by trained
and qualified personnel.
Precautions Before transporting the milking box (e.g. to a
different location), the precautions in Table 3-1
have to be taken into account.
Table 3-1 Transport precautions

1 Clean the complete milking box before it is transported, stored or
dismantled.
2 Switch off the milking box by means of the main power switch.
3 Disconnect electrical cables.
4 Depressurise the compressed air system.
5 Shut off water.
