GETTING STARTED

Prepare your skin

1.  If hair is present, remove the hair where you 

will place the ECG electrodes. 
See 

page 7

 for chest locations. 

2.  Thoroughly clean the area with soap and 

water. Dry the area completely. 

3.  Do not apply lotions, oils, or perfumes.

  

Attach electrodes to lead wires

1.  Snap one ECG electrode into each of the five 

colored leads.
