Controls
Become familiar with all the controls before you
operate the spreader.
Material Deflector
The material deflector controls the spread of materials;
you can adjust the controls to provide different spread
patterns; refer to
Adjusting the Material Deflectors
(page 17)
.
Dump Switch
The dump switch activates the spreader and empties
out the contents. Press and hold the switch to empty
the spreader.
CAUTION
When outside of the vehicle cab, this machine
produces sound levels that can cause hearing
loss through extended periods of exposure.
Wear hearing protection while operating the
dump switch.
