Working Advice
f
Do not strain the machine so heavily that it comes to a stand-
still.
The cutting performance of the machine depends on the materials
to be cut and on the charging condition of the battery.
Depending on the charge condition of the battery, excessive feed
considerably reduces the performance capability.
Always keep the blade free and clean of material remainders.
The guide edge
5
may not become wedged during cutting and
must be aligned parallel to the cutting surface.
Improper use will make the blade dull.
Thin materials, such as fabrics, can be pulled into the machine
during cutting and become wedged. Therefore, do not apply too
much pressure with such materials in order to achieve good cut-
ting results. During cutting, apply sufficient tension while holding
fabrics and cut slowly.
Optimum cutting results are best determined through practical
testing.
Overload Protection
When the load on the machine is too high, the battery charge-con-
trol indicator
7
flashes red
and the power tool switches off auto-
matically.
–
To start the operation of the machine again, relieve the load on
the power tool first and then switch on again (press ON/OFF
switch
1
).
The battery charge-control indicator lights up green again.
“Cut Control” Cutting-line Mark
The red line on the blade guard (“Cut Control” cutting-line mark
6
) indicates the cutting line of the blade
4
.
This allows for precise guiding of the machine alongside the cut-
ting line marked on the material.
