Home Connect
This appliance is Wi-Fi enabled and can
be controlled remotely via a smartphone
or tablet PC.
With the Home Connect app, you can
use your smartphone or tablet PC to do
the following on this appliance:
■
Select and start programmes.
■
Change programme settings.
■
Query the status of programmes.
■
Change appliance settings.
■
Switch off the appliance.
Before you can use the Home Connect
functions, you will need to install the
Home Connect app on your
smartphone or tablet PC, register,
connect your appliance automatically
or
manually to your home Wi-Fi network
(you only need to do this the first time)
and then connect your mobile device to
your appliance via the
Home Connect app.

Please observe the safety
precautions in this instruction
manual and make sure that these
are complied with even when
operating the appliance via the
Home Connect app while you are
away from home. You must also
follow the instructions in the
Home Connect app.
■
You cannot use the
Home Connect app to make
changes while the appliance is in
operation. You will be able to use the
Home Connect app to see any
adjustments made directly on the
appliance itself, however.
Connecting to your home
network automatically
If your router has a WPS function, you
can connect the appliance to your home
network automatically.
If your router does not have a WPS
function, you will need to connect the
appliance to your home network
manually
Wi-Fi must be switched on at the
appliance.
1.
Switch the appliance on.
2.
Press and hold the
Remote Start
}
button for more than three seconds.
Aut. network log-in
appears in the
display panel.
3.
Use either of the right-hand arrow
buttons to select
Connect
.
The appliance will now try to connect
to your home network.
4.
Activate the WPS function on your
home network router within the next
two minutes.
If the appliance has successfully
connected to the home network,
Connected
è
appears in the display
panel.
5.
You can exit the Home Connect
settings by selecting the
Remote
Start
}
button.
Note:
If you were not able to establish a
connection, check whether your
appliance is within range of the home
network and repeat the manual
connection. Try connecting automatically
again or connect your appliance
