Installation and Operating Manual | VIDOS Server

The following access privileges can be set for cameras:

Color

Privilege

yellow

Live viewing

- Live video data can be displayed.

green

View and PTZ control

- Video data can be displayed and the camera

can be controlled.

blue

Overrule

- Video data can be displayed and the camera can be

controlled.
The user with this privilege is given access to the camera even if
another user is currently using it exclusively. However, he does not
have the option of using the camera exclusively himself.
This setting can be used to enable a leading security officer with
higher priority to control a camera with precedence over a normal user
in case of an alarm, even if the user is actually using that camera
exclusively.

red

No access

- The user group has no access to the respective camera.
