your alternative energy sources pro-
duce sufficient energy within a
preselected time, the energy man-
ager will start the appliance. If your
alternative energy sources do not
produce sufficient energy, your appli-
ance will start at the latest time pos-
sible within this preselected time us-
ing power from conventional energy
sources.

Connecting energy manager to
home system
Requirements

The appliance is connected to your
WLAN home network. →

The appliance is connected to the
Home Connect app.
¡
The connection to the energy man-
agement of your home system is
activated. Follow the instruction
manual of your home system.
1.
To open the basic settings, press
for approx. 3 seconds.
2.
Press repeatedly until the display
shows "Energy manager".
3.
To start connection, press .
4.
Connect the appliance to the en-
ergy management of your home
system within the next 2 minutes.

If the appliance is connected to the
energy management of your home
system, the display shows "Net-
work login Successful".

If the appliance is not connected
to the energy management of your
home system, the display shows
"Network login Failed".
5.
If the display shows "Network login
Failed", press again.
6.
To close the basic settings, press
for approx. 3 seconds.

To close the basic settings, press

The first time your appliance is
registered on a home network
connected to the Internet, your
appliance will transmit the following
types of data to the Home Connect
server (initial registration):

Unique appliance identification
(consisting of appliance codes as
well as the MAC address of the
Wi-Fi communication module in-
stalled).
¡
Security certificate of the Wi-Fi
communication module (to ensure
a secure data connection).
