GETTING STARTED - 

1ST TIME USE

ADD SALT TO WATER SOFTENER

$

Open 

the lid

 

Add water to 

dispenser 

before

the first 

wash only.

Add special

salt (never 

use table salt 

or detergent!) 

The water softening system creates optimal washing results by dissolving lime-

scale and setting the correct water hardness 

for the detergent to work best.

Ask your water company what the water hard-

ness is or use the included water test strip . 

Set your dishwasher to the correct setting. 

To adjust the setting:

•   Press the ON/OFF button.

•   Press the Setup button for 3 seconds until   

  H:0... is shown on the display window.

•   Make the selection with setting buttons -  +.

•   Press and hold the Setup button for 

  3 seconds .

WARNING

•   Load sharp items (knives, skewers, etc.) pointing down. Failure to do so may   

  result in injury.

•   To avoid risk of injury, always use caution when opening the door during or 

  following a wash cycle as hot water or steam may escape. Do not fully open the  

  door until water noises have stopped and steam has subsided.
