2.1 General information on this chapter

2.2 Intended use
The product is a hydraulic component.
You may use the product as follows:
• as a direct operated directional spool valve with manual actuation for intended use
in explosive atmospheres.
The product is intended for professional use only; private use is excluded.
Intended use includes having read and understood this documentation completely,
especially chapter 2 "Safety instructions".
The valve is designed and constructed for the control of oil flows. It complies with
the requirements of the ATEX directive 2014/34/EU.
You can find details about the device group, category, temperature class/surface
temperature and equipment protection level (EPL) in accordance with
ATEX directive 2014/34/EU and the derived standards in
"Data sheet 22280-XC"
under
"Information on explosion protection"
and on the name plate of the valve.
